TLDR: Good spot for traditional Korean soup that's open early if you're looking for breakfast. The beef head soup is definitely their signature item. Was in the need for some hot soup and it was early, so popped over to Jinsang Gukbap. Spacious, occupies the former Bayside Witch Toppoki space. Got the mandu and the seomori gukbap or beef head soup. Mandu was fairly large and came steamed. Nice and rich, lots of different types of meat including tendon, some lean and fatty meat. I found it just hit the spot for me, scratching that hot soup itch. Was very full and definitely would come back to try some of the other items.

The beef head soup was delicious. Had a lot of that jelly joint tendon. Beef tartare/sashimi bibimbap was great too, and the banchan was very tasty. I was surprised that one of the banchan was potato!

Queens, NY 11361 / KOREAN / 09-08-24 / DINNER +The complimentary banchan side dishes were delicious. +The beef head soup came out super piping hot. -The soup was already seasoned and I think there was some traces of MSG, as I got sleepy and thirsty after the meal. Three hours later, I'm still thirsty and have a slight sodium headache.

Great Korean comfort food. Came here after a round of golf and although it was hot outside, the food definitely hit the spot. The place is nice and clean and the tables themselves have drawers where you can get utensils and napkins. The server was super friendly as well. Will definitely come back here soon to try some other dishes.

My new favorite neighborhood spot for awesome beef head soup and Bossam! They also have cold noodles for the summer months. Will be back for the seafood pancake!

Hello I'm back here again XD The owner talk me to try the beef sashimi next time I came so I ofc I had to come and try it! Although the place is bit pricey they compensate it with quality and volume of food. I was so full at the end of my meal it was hard to fit the last 2 spoons of food in me mouth. Ofc I had to reorder the dumplings!!! So far my favorite thing on the menu. It brings me back to simpler times when my grandma made dumplings for me. The place is quiet and the servers are nice Come visit Jinsang Gukbap for the best Korean cuisine in bayside.
